Who is responsible

The controller for personal data processed here is the individual who operates CoachRank, based in India. Contact: contact@coachrank.lol. Payment data has its own controller - see the payment provider named below.

What we collect

We collect the information needed to operate the editorial, tools and paid rankings.

• Listing details. The name, website and category you submit. All three are public by design.
• Payment records. The amount, the resulting position, and the payment identifier from Dodo Payments. Card details are collected by Dodo and never reach us.
• A visitor cookie. cr_visitor - a random opaque token, stored up to a year, used once to count your browser in the visitor total. It is not your name and is not used for advertising.
• A presence cookie. cr_presence - a random token that expires within a day, used only to count how many people are on the site right now.
• An admin session cookie. cr_admin - set only for administrators who sign in, and only for them.
• Click counts. When you follow a listing we increment a counter for that listing and a total for the site. We record that a click happened, not who made it.
• Correspondence. If you email us, we keep that exchange as long as we need it to respond and to keep a record.

Your browser may also store a theme preference locally. That never leaves your device.

Buying journey measurement

We use a first-party cr_journey cookie for up to 30 days to understand which articles and referral sources lead to product visits, sign-in, checkout, purchases and completed reports. A random journey identifier connects these steps. We record public page paths, a broad source such as Reddit or Google, approved campaign labels and the first time each step occurs. We do not put email addresses, full referral URLs, sign-in codes, payment credentials or assessment answers in journey records.

The journey identifier may be attached to an order so a verified payment and completed report can be attributed to the visit that started checkout. It is not used for advertising or shared with social platforms. Journey records are scheduled for deletion after 90 days; a reference retained with an order no longer identifies a source after its journey record is deleted. Browser privacy signals (Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track) disable this measurement. You can also turn it off below. The preference is stored in cr_measurement for up to a year. Account, payment and delivery records needed to provide your purchase are still kept.

Assessment answers and reports

For the Brand Clarity Assessment, we store your selected answers, completed reports, purchase reference and optional feedback in CoachRank’s Firestore database. We use them to save progress, generate your report, compare your included reassessment and improve the product. Recommendations are generated from CoachRank’s written scoring and guidance; no AI provider receives your answers.

When you sign in with Google or an email link, Firebase Authentication verifies your identity. We associate your Firebase user ID and email with your assessment purchases. Your display name, when provided by Google, is used to identify your session. We request no access to your Google mail, contacts or files. Signing in does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

The cr_customer cookie keeps your account signed in for up to 14 days. It is HTTP-only, Secure in production and SameSite Lax. Sign in again to restore access after it expires or on another device. Your browser temporarily stores the email used to request a sign-in link so the link can be completed on the same device; it is removed after successful sign-in. Firebase sends the authentication email and applies its own abuse controls.

The legacy cr_brand_access cookie lasts up to one year. For earlier purchases that are not yet connected to an account, the private link remains an access credential: anyone holding it can view the answers and reports or connect that purchase to their account. Keep it private. Once connected, sign-in to the owning account is required. Admin previews use a separate cr_brand_preview cookie and require administrator sign-in. Signing out of a customer account removes its session and assessment access cookie without deleting saved reports.

We retain completed assessments to provide continued report access, or until you request deletion, subject to payment-record retention requirements. Authorized administrators can see purchase status and optional feedback. Contact contact@coachrank.lol to request account or report deletion or help with access. We verify ownership before acting on those requests.

Assessment payment information is handled by Dodo Payments. Your answers are not sent to Dodo, and card details are not collected by CoachRank. Downloaded PDFs remain on your device and under your control.

Why we are allowed to

• Contract. To take payment, publish or raise a listing, and show the rank you paid for.
• Legitimate interests. To keep the board fair and working - rate limiting, abuse prevention, counting traffic, debugging, and defending legal claims. You can object to this processing; see your rights below.
• Legal obligation. To keep tax, accounting and complaint records where the law requires it.

Listings are public

Names, bios, categories, standing bids, ranks, click totals and destination links are public and indexable by search engines. Do not list a website if you do not want that shown.

To show an icon for each listing our servers request it from public favicon services. Your browser never contacts those services directly, and we do not fetch the coach's own site to build the board.

Who else sees data

• Dodo Payments - checkout and payment confirmation.
• Google Firebase - the database and administrator sign-in.
• Firebase App Hosting, on Google Cloud - serving the site. Requests to it carry the standard technical data described above.
• Public favicon services - the icon lookup described above, which receives only the listed domain name.
• Advisers, authorities, or a buyer of the service, where we must share to comply with the law, enforce the Terms, or transfer the project.

We do not sell personal data, and there are no advertising networks or cross-site tracking pixels on this site.

Where data goes

Some of these providers operate outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where that applies we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• The visitor cookie lasts up to a year, or until you clear cookies.
• The presence cookie expires within a day, and stale presence records are swept away.
• Listings stay public while they are on the board, and may remain in backups and payment history after removal.
• Payment records are kept as long as accounting, tax and dispute handling require.

Your rights

Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, you can ask us to give you access to, correct, delete or export personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where we relied on it. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

Email contact@coachrank.lol. We may need enough detail to find your records. Note that listing content which also appears on your own website does not become private simply because a listing is removed - but you can ask us to remove the listing at any time.

Children

CoachRank is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the service, contact us and we will delete what we can identify.

Changes

We update this page when the service or the law changes. The date at the top is the current version.
